American rapper & singer, Gunna has released his new romantic Valentine’s Day track named, “Banking on Me.” Watch the official music video below.

Gunna shares some wise words of advice. “When you first start to meet a person and you start liking them and shit – the vibe be good – but you want it to last, you wanna spread it out,” he tells a woman sitting in his passenger seat. “I love when I go out of town cause it gives us a Lil time to come back to you. I will be missing you.”

On his 29th birthday[Yesterday (June 14)], Gunna issued his first statement about his current incarceration on racketeering charges. He was arrested in May and listed among 28 defendants (one of whom is Young Thug) in a RICO indictment of the label YSL (aka Young Slime Life, Young Stoner Life, and Young Slatt Life).

Gunna claimed not guilty to conspiracy to violate the RICO act. He was denied bond and is set to go to trial in 2023. “I am being falsely accused and will never stop fighting to clear my name!” Gunna wrote in his statement yesterday. “As a Black Man in America, it seems as though my art is only acceptable when I’m a source of entertainment for the masses.”
