J. Cole Removes Kendrick Lamar Diss Track, “7 Minute Drill” From Streaming Services

American rapper and record producer, J. Cole has removed the Kendrick Lamar diss track, “7 Minute Drill” from streaming services.

The album ‘Might Delete Later’s‘ controversial viral track was taken down from streamers as of Friday afternoon (April 12). Amid his apology to Kendrick Lamar while on stage at his Dreamville Fest, J. Cole voiced his plan to have the track removed from DSPs altogether, and five days later he delivered on his promise.

Last week, Cole headlined his annual Dreamville Festival. He took time during his set to explain that he felt conflicted about making and releasing “7 Minute Drill,” going on to call it “the lamest shit I ever did in my fucking life.” 

He referred to 2022’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers as “tragic” and claimed that the Grammy-winning To Pimp A Butterfly had fans snoozing.
