Selena Gomez & Demi Lovato Donating Against COVID-19

The singer Selena Gomez has revealed on social media on March 31 that she is making a donation to the hospital to assist provide essential coronavirus medical tools for medical doctors and nurses who’re working extra time to deal with sufferers.

Selena wrote on twitter, “So thankful for every single medical professional who is putting their health on the line to take care of others I’m donating to @CedarsSinai as they are low on masks and ventilators. They’ve taken such good care of me so it’s my turn to show my gratitude.”

Demi Lovato is also doing her bit to assist throughout the pandemic. Similar to her good friend, Lovato is donating a portion of the proceeds from her new Fabletics activewear vary to help first responders who want private protecting equipment (PPE) as they tirelessly battle these affected with the coronavirus.

Demi Lovato shared a post on Instagram, “I’ve really been going back and forth on if this was the right time… but decided this is a time to provide inspiration for my fans at home and to help those in need.”

“$5 for every item sold will provide crucial gear to frontline workers,” She added, “pledging up to $125,000 now through June 30 supporting the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization, powered by the United Nations Foundation. #Demi4Fabletics is coming 04/02/20″
