Dutch DJ, Tiësto’s former Manager, Dimitri De Wit has dead at 51, after a battle with cancer.
As underground raves were gaining reputation within the ’80s, de Wit discovered himself organizing underground acid home events and shortly after was requested to be a resident DJ at Premier nightclub in 1988 till 1992, when he took a hiatus from the underground scene.

Dimitri de Wit was born in Breda, Netherlands, and started his musical profession at age fourteen as a cellular DJ under the title DJ Le Blanc. In 2002, Black Hole Recordings promoted de Wit to be their head of A&R, which resulted in placing his DJ profession on the back-burner, but, it led him to be the manager of Tiësto within the early 2000s.
In recent years, De Wit also was the CEO of international booking and management agency Twenty4Seven which was filled with a roster of international skills similar to Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila, and New World Punx.

“After a short and heavy battle with cancer, we’ve lost our colleague and dear friend Dimitri de Wit on Thursday, August 6th,” Bink from Black Hole Recordings took to Facebook and wrote. “Dimitri was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the first week of June, and despite his best attempts and incredibly positive attitude,

He continued, “his cancer was sadly enough way too aggressive [sic] to give him any kind of fighting chance. And so it is with heavy hearts, that all of us at Black Hole extend our sincere condolences to Dimitri’s girlfriend, family and friends, and those colleagues from the music industry who have been in his life.”
