The music festival, Vh1 Supersonic officially announced that they will be returned with full force in 2022 to make up for 1 lost year, 2022. Check out the post below.

Vh1 Supersonic shared the announcement via Instagram with the caption, “🚨#FestivalUpdate🚨 Sometimes, good things fall apart. Earlier this year we ended the festival on a high note with the announcement of dates for the 2021 festival. None of us imagined that a month later our worlds would be turned upside down and a large gathering would be deemed potentially dangerous.

They added, “As a festival-goers experience & safety is our top priority, we’ve decided to call off Vh1 Supersonic 2021 and push the 8th edition of the festival to 2022. We promise you we’ll be back in full force for 2022 to make up for 1 lost year. Until then, stay positive, test negative, and #GoSupersonic.⚡”

The day before Yesterday, Vh1 Supersonic from Viacom18 has announced that Supersonic 2021 is officially canceled. Speaking about the postponement of Vh1 Supersonic, Mahesh Shetty, Head, Network Sales, Viacom18, said, “Vh1 Supersonic has brought artists and festivalgoers under one roof for many years now, always leaving them with countless memories and unforgettable experiences.

He added, “Unfortunately, our decision to cancel the festival in 2021 and push it to 2022 has come due to the global uncertainty of the ongoing pandemic. Our primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of our festival-goers and taking that into consideration, we have decided to cancel the 2021 edition. In the meantime, we are leaving you all with a promise that we will be back bigger and better in 2022. Stay tuned and see you guys soon.”
