Christmas is around the corner, which means, ‘tis the season to be jolly with our friends and family. It’s time to whip out those gorgeous lights, get those ugly Christmas sweaters on and spread some holiday cheer. And one of the best ways to spread holiday cheer is by playing iconic Christmas songs on full volume all day long.
I know that we have a set of Christmas songs that we listen to every year. Many of us have been listening to those songs since childhood. But I think it’s time we re-vamp that Christmas songs playlist and add a few new renditions of old songs. A bit of a stray from usual Christmas songs, in this one Ariana asks Father Christmas to not make all her wishes come true especially one regarding a potential love interest. The track’s hilariously relatable lyrics, Ariana’s soft and angelic vocals and the typical christmas-y beat makes this ideal for the holidays!
2 – Mistletoe by Justin Bieber
A hit from the 2011 album Under The Mistletoe, this Justin Bieber song is perfect for Christmas. The moment you hear the bells ring, it’s impossible to not want to dance. It is an extremely sweet song with adorable lyrics; perfect for a Christmas date night.
3 – Baby It’s Cold Outside by Idina Menzel and Michael Bublé
This one is an another classic. Although this song has been covered by many artists, this rendition is absolutely beautiful. Michael and Idina’s voices are like a match made in heaven and it is impossible to not sing along with them. This rendition of Silent Night is one of the best. If you are looking for a little bit of twist on a Christmas classic, this takes the crown. 7 – Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow by Dean Martin
This one is an oldie but goodie. Another brilliant song to kick off the holiday season by “The King of Cool”. Let it Snow came out in the late 50’s but it is truly timeless. There is no way one cannot get excited about the holidays once this song comes on (and it’s even better if it is actually snowing!)
8 – Holly Jolly Christmas by Micheal Bublé
Now, we know we have mentioned Michael Bublé a few times but his voice is perfect for Christmas songs. Holly Jolly Christmas is not just a great song to listen to but its upbeat rhythm makes you want to shake a leg as well.
9 – Blue Christmas by Elvis Presley
Sung by the King of Pop, this song is ideal for anyone who is stuck at work or is away from family for Christmas. We know that not everyone cannot make it back during the holidays, which is why this one’s for you. Elvis’ melancholic voice is here to keep you company for your blue Christmas.

10 – Last Christmas by Wham!
While the lyrics might be for the heartbroken, this song is for every Christmas lover who is also a karaoke enthusiast. Almost everyone (heartbroken and otherwise) loves screaming this song out at the top of their lungs after one too many mulled wines! Christmas is incomplete without this song.
11 – Santa Claus Is Coming To Town by Bruce Springsteen
Who would’ve imagined Bruce Springsteen’s rough and raspy voice singing a Christmas carol and actually nailing it? Not me! But, here we are. Someone once said no one can put this much attitude into a Christmas song as Bruce does and I couldn’t agree more. This is one Christmas classic you can head bang to!

12 – All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey
There is no universe where a Christmas songs list is made and this one is not included. This song has been a hit all through the 90’s to now (and will continue to be in the future). The minute Mariah says “I” and starts the song, you know Christmas is coming.
