BTS Earns Billboard’s Hot 100 First No. 1 Debut With ‘Dynamite’

The popular K-pop boy band, BTS earns their first chart-topper debut new single “Dynamite” at No. 1 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100, and with a relatively rare instant ruler.

The first English track of BTS, “Dynamite” replaced Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP” at No. 1 on the Hot 100, where it has been holding court for two frames. They previously have broken into the highest tier on the taly with “Fake Love” (No. 10), “Boy With Luv” with Halsey (No. 8), and “On” (No. 4), which established a brand new greatest showing for the group earlier this year.

According to the Nielsen Music/MRC Data, “Dynamite” had 33.9 million U.S. streams and 300,000 units sold in its the week ending Aug. 27. It also drew 11.6 million radio airplay audience impressions in the week ending Aug. 30. BTS is the first all-South Korean group to top the chart.

Accordance with the Forbes, The track, “Dynamite” launches at No. 1 thanks to a large streaming figure, robust early radio support, and a gross sales sum so massive it’s stunning. The tune was instantly performed on websites like Spotify and Apple Music by hundreds of thousands, and the video that accompanied the minimize racked up huge view counts.

Relating to gross sales on platforms like iTunes and Amazon AMZN+1.4%, “Dynamite” was a bestseller from the moment it arrived, and it has hardly dipped in reputation within the week since.

Last month, the K-pop group, released their first official trailer of the upcoming movie ‘Break The Silence: The Movie. They shared the news via Twitter and wrote that, “<BREAK THE SILENCE: THE MOVIE> Official Trailer 1.”

BTS’s record label Big Hit Entertainment also announced that, the new BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E concert tour this year.
