Kanye West Announces He Is Ready To Running For President
This isn’t the first time Kanye West has talked about running for the most important job within the country, however now he seems decided, primarily based on his phrase choice. He was open up about his ambitions as recently as this previous November, when he stated “When I run for president in 2024, we’d’ve created so many jobs that I am not going to run, I’m going to walk” during an occasion this previous November. Now it seems he’s moved his hopes up one cycle.
During a speech on the MTV Video Music Awards in 2015, he revealed he was planning on running for president in 2020, and though a lot was made from the announcement on the time, not lots appeared to come back from it.
West raised eyebrows for years together with his outspoken support of President Trump. The titan of hip-hop ranted about how he would have voted for the Republican candidate in 2016 (had he voted in any respect), and after a brief keep in a hospital resulting from exhaustion, West visited the future leader at his New York Metropolis residence, the place they posed for images.
For the following two years, West praised Trump in varied interviews on radio and TV and the 2 tweeted at each other. The rapper sported one of many President’s red and white Make America Nice Again hats in public, and he even spent time surrounded by cameras with Trump within the Oval Office.
