English rock band, The Rolling Stones has surprisingly announced their new album titled ‘Hackney Diamonds.’ Check out the announcement below.

On Monday (Sept. 4), the “Gimme Shelter” singer announced the upcoming album release, “Hackney Diamonds“, their first album follow-up of original music since 2005’s A Bigger Bang.

“Hackney may be at the heart of Hackney Diamonds, but this is a truly global moment we want to share with fans around the world via YouTube,” the Rolling Stones said in a statement.

Full details will be transferred during an occasion in the Hackney district of East London on Wednesday (Sept. 6), where the Stones’ Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ron Wood will be interviewed by Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon. The event will be exclusively streamed on the Rolling Stones’ YouTube channel here.

A minute-long teaser clip finds Fallon lounging on a couch listening to the Stones on vinyl when he receives a special call from the “Stones phone,” featuring the group’s iconic logo. A mumbled voice from one of the band members can be heard through the receiver, informing the Tonight Show host about the act’s upcoming livestream event.
