The American rapper YG has dropped his new protest hip hop track called ‘FTP‘ produced by Swish & Larry Jayy – Stream Below.

The new hip hop song, ‘FTP’ stands for ‘Fuck the Police’ – amid continuing protests in the US following the death of George Floyd.

I’m partnering with Black Lives Matter and we gonna do this shit the right way. For the people, for the city, and for all the artists that wanna pop out and participate.”

It’s not the first politically-charged track released by YG. In the 2016 election, he released ‘FDT’ with Nipsey Hussle which stood for ‘fuck Donald Trump’. His latest, which seemingly nods to N.W.A.’s iconic ‘Fuck Tha Police’ track from 1988’s ‘Straight Outta Compton’

He used the tag line in the track, “FUCK THE POLICE. NO JUSTICE NO PEACE.”
