Who Were Tweedledum and Tweedledee?
Tweedledum and Tweedledum are identical twins who appeared in the 1971 novel Through the Looking Glass. It is the sequel to the 1865 novel Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum do not feature in the original story, but rather in the sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass. Alice met Tweedledum and Tweedledee, the twin brothers from the nursery tale. Here is the famous nursery rhyme:
