Australian DJ & EDM producer, Alison Wonderland has dropped her new banger track named ‘Bad Things.’ Watch the full video song below.
The track, “Bad Things” is the first official track since she released one-off single ‘Peace’ in 2019. Recently, Wonderland dropped a transformative cover of Smashing Pumpkins’ 1993 track ‘Disarm’ at Lollapalooza’s virtual 2020 event. It is produced by Satien Mehta, directed by Peter Don, video was filmed on location at an eerie rustic ranch in Santa Clarita, CA and explores themes of coping with one’s demons.

Earlier this week, Alison Wonderland announced the news via social media with the caption, “time for new music. Bad Things. Out this Wednesday,” as well as sharing the single’s artwork.
Alison said about cover art, “This song is a really special song to me. It’s one of my all-time favourite songs by one of my all-time favourite bands, The Smashing Pumpkins, from Chicago. I just wanted to do a little ode to Chicago, because Lollapalooza. This song is called ‘Disarm’. It is the song that got me through high school, so this is for my high school self right now.”
The song includes a blackened string part rounding her earworm vocal, ahead of a tricky and joyful drop, and showcases her skilled deal with on gentle and shade, hallmarks of the perfect electronic music.
