American singer and producer, Ariana Grande to host ‘Saturday Night Live’ with Cher as musical guest. Check out the announcement post below.
The episode will be telecast on 20th Dec 2025. This will mark her 3rd appearance on SNL. Rather than Grande serving as her own musical guest — which she did the first time she hosted the show in 2016 — Cher will join the lineup to perform.
The two weeks leading up to Grande’s return to the show promise plenty of excitement as well. Melissa McCarthy is set to host the Dec. 6 episode, with Dijon appearing as the musical guest. The following week features Josh O’Connor as host and Lily Allen — riding the momentum of her critically acclaimed album West End Girl — returning to the stage. Allen’s appearance marks her first time performing on the show since 2007.
The newly announced hosts and performers continue what has already been a standout season, adding to a string of high-profile guests. Just this past weekend, Olivia Dean delivered the musical performance while Glen Powell took on hosting duties. Earlier episodes featured Sombr making his musical guest debut during Nikki Glaser’s turn as host, and Sabrina Carpenter pulling double duty the week prior.
Meanwhile, the official soundtrack for ‘Wicked: One Wonderful Night (Live)’ is now available, featuring Ariana Grande.
