American rapper, A$AP Rocky performed the massive performance of “Don’t Be Dumb” songs on Saturday Night Live. Watch the full performance below.
A$AP Rocky served as the musical guest on Saturday night’s (Jan. 17) episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard. Fresh off the release of his new album Don’t Be Dumb, Rocky hit the stage with special guests Thundercat and Danny Elfman for a performance of “Punk Rocky,” before delivering a high-energy medley of the album’s title track and “Helicopter$.”
After a series of delays and stalled rollouts, Don’t Be Dumb finally arrived on Friday, Jan. 16. Ahead of the release, both “Punk Rocky” and “Helicopter$” were supported by music videos, with the former featuring Winona Ryder, a Stranger Things co-star of host Finn Wolfhard. The album’s cover art was designed by Tim Burton, and Rocky is also slated to appear as one of the headliners at the 2026 Governor’s Ball Music Festival in New York City.
Meanwhile, Saturday Night Live’s 51st season has already welcomed musical performances from Doja Cat, Sabrina Carpenter, Brandi Carlile, Olivia Dean, Dijon, Lily Allen, Cher, and more, while Bad Bunny and Ariana Grande have both hosted episodes. Next up, Geese will serve as this week’s musical guest with Teyana Taylor hosting, followed by a Jan. 31 episode led by Alexander Skarsgård and musical guest Cardi B.
