BLACKPINK’s band member Rosé has announced her upcoming solo studio debut album “Rosie.”

Today (October 2), BLACKPINK’s Rosé announced her first-ever studio album, called ‘Rosie’ on social media. She shared, “I have poured my blood and tears into this album. I cannot wait for you to listen to this little journal of mine.”

In her post, Rosé also recalled the long creation process of the album after BLACKPINK concluded their 2023 world tour. “I found myself in a session out here in Los Angeles,” she noted. “That led on to a year of walking in and out of the studio, writing songs with songwriters and producers I’d met for the first time, trying to figure out the next chapter in my career.”

Shortly after signing a record contract with Atlantic Records, the K-pop sensation announced “rosie.” A new “finsta” account, @vampirehollie, was also opened by Rosé at that time, where she and her team would post updates on her impending solo music. The account name is noteworthy since it is the same as the name of an upcoming song she hinted at to fans in February.
