The “Without Me” rapper, Eminem’s upcoming ‘Stans’ Documentary is set Limited AMC Theaters release. Check out the teaser below.
A documentary about Eminem will be released exclusively in AMC Theaters for a limited run from Aug. 7 through Aug. 10. Titled “Stans” after Eminem’s iconic 2000 hit about an obsessive superfan, the documentary explores the rapper’s career through the lens of his most dedicated supporters. Since the song’s release, the term “stan” has evolved from its dark origins into a pop culture staple, officially entering the Oxford English Dictionary in 2017 to describe an intensely devoted fan, now often used as a term of endearment rather than warning.
Directed by Steven Leckart, “Stans” delves into the complex relationship between Eminem’s intensely private life and his massive public persona. Using a mix of dramatic recreations, rare archival footage, and new interviews, the film explores the highs and lows of the rapper’s groundbreaking career. Eminem, a 15-time Grammy winner known for hits like “Lose Yourself,” “Without Me,” “Stan,” “The Real Slim Shady,” and “Love the Way You Lie,” also served as a producer on the project alongside Paul Rosenberg, Stuart Parr, Antoine Fuqua, Tony DiSanto, and David Schiff.
In July 2024, Eminem revealed his highly anticipated latest album, “The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)”. Notably, the album has a sequel to “Guilty Conscience” and will most likely feature Dr. Dre, who stated earlier last year, 2024, that he was collaborating with Eminem on the project.
