American rock band, Fall Out Boy has released an updated version of Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire,” with all-new lyrics covering newsworthy items from 1989-2023. Listen to the full song below.
The original song covered everything that happened between 1949 (the year Joel was born) and 1989, so Fall Out Boy members Pete Wentz, Patrick Stump, Andy Hurley, and Joe Trohman have updated it to span the 34 years since Joel came out.
