GloRilla was arrested on felony marijuana possession and possession of a controlled substance after police discovered a “significant amount of marijuana” in a bedroom closet while investigating a burglary at her Atlanta home on Saturday, July 19, 2025. The rapper, who was not home at the time of the break-in—cut short when someone inside fired shots at the intruders—was charged after deputies, who smelled marijuana, called in a drug task force to secure a search warrant. No injuries were reported during the burglary.

Glorilla voluntarily turned herself in to Forsyth County Jail on Tuesday, and she was released on a $22,260 bond. Sheriff Ron Freeman said in a statement, “The homeowner is a victim of a serious crime, and we are committed to bringing the suspects to justice. At the same time, we must continue to uphold and enforce the law in all aspects of this case.” Police failed to find any of the three intruders.

Officers claimed they smelled both marijuana and alcohol coming from the car … and said GloRilla admitted to drinking. She seemingly struggled with a field sobriety test — appearing shaky and having trouble keeping her balance in body cam video from the incident.
