India is celebrating its 74th Independence Day, and Google makes this day more special with AI-Powered National Anthem. Between August 1st to 10th Prasar Bharati, Virtual Bharat and Google invited users from across India to sing the national anthem at https://SoundsofIndia.withGoogle.com for an AI-powered musical experiment.
The final result is uploaded on Google India’s official YouTube channel. The unique re-creation of the national anthem with our own voices. Google AI magically transforms your voice into a musical instrument. A unique AI experiment where all the voices came together like ‘As One Nation, One Emotion’. Over 4.5 lakhs users had participated in this AI Experiment by singing ‘Jana Gana Mana’ with others virtually. Listen to the National Anthem video is below.
On Independence Day 2020, Google Doodle also give the tribute to Indian culture and music. The Google Doodle, illustrated by Mumbai-based guest artist Sachin Ghanekar, features folk instruments like the tutari, shehnai, dhol, veena, sarangi and bansuri. From the versatile double-reeded shehnai to the resonant stringed sarangi, these instruments are but a few that make up India’s rich musical legacy, which dates back over 6,000 years.
