American singer-songwriter, Gwen Stefani has teamed up with Blake Shelton for the new track named ‘Purple Irises’ Duet. Listen to the full song below.
The track, “Purple Irises” is hardly the first musical collaboration from the lovebirds. The song arrives just two days after they announced the track with the 1970s-inspired cover art, in which Stefani is seen lounging on a couch in a denim jumpsuit, chunky-heeled shoes, and a bra, while Shelton sits on a chair in jeans and denim shirt with leather indulgences while strumming a guitar.
“But if someone comes along and tries to love you like I love you/ Don’t know what I’d do/ Don’t want to lose you/ If someone comes along and tries to take you tries to make you/ Don’t let ’em change your mind/ Wonder why you took a risk/ On a broken heart you cannot fix/ No I never knew a love like this/ Now we’re pickin’ purple irises,” the couple sings on the country pop ballad.
