American singer-songwriter Katy Perry has released her new title track colorful music video ‘Smile‘ for his upcoming fifth album. – Watch the full music video song below.
The title track “Smile” for the star’s upcoming fifth studio album, which is set to be released Aug. 14 via Capitol Records. The LP will also feature lead single “Daisies” as well as Perry’s 2019 one-offs “Never Really Over” and “Harleys in Hawaii.”
Smile’ will be Perry’s first album since the release of ‘Witness’ in 2017. It also follows up on her promise that it would be out this year, despite the challenges presented by a coronavirus.

Speaking about the track, Dressed as a clown, Perry is shown in miniature throughout the colorful visual, dancing around in giant clown shoes and showboating atop an elephant-sized chair.
Elsewhere in the clip, the miniaturized singer balances on her very own grin and nearly gets carried away by a bouquet of bright yellow balloons stamped with her initials.

“I wrote the title track from the album when I was coming through one of the darkest periods of my life and had lost my smile,” Perry wrote of the song on Instagram. “This whole album is my journey toward the light — with stories of resilience, hope, and love.”
