American rapper and songwriter, Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem have teamed up for a new song named “The Hillbillies.” Listen to the full song below.
“The Hillbillies” samples Bon Iver’s pandemic-era song “PDLIF,” which, itself samples Alabaster dePlume’s “Visit Croatia.” Directed by Neal Farmer, Keem and Lamar clown around a private jet, a shopping mall, and later outside Dodger Stadium with Tyler, the Creator.
The track, “The Hillbillies” marks the latest collaboration from Keem and Lamar, who’ve worked together on “Range Brothers,” “Vent,” “N95,” “Die Hard,” “Savior (Interlude),” “Savior,” “Nile,” “Redemption Interlude,” and the Grammy-winning “Family Ties.”
