New Zealand singer and songwriter, Lorde, has unveiled the ‘Man of the Year’ video song and full ‘Virgin’ album tracklist in Raw, Emotional Release. Listen to the full song below.

“Glidin’ through on my bike, glidin’ through/ Like new from my recent ego death/ Sirens sing overnight, violent, sweet music/ You met me at a really strange time in my life/ Take my knife and I cut the cord,” she sings in a loud whisper over a gently plucked bass guitar.

In the raw and emotionally charged music video for “Man of the Year,” Lorde fully embraces transformation. As she sings about becoming “someone else” — someone she describes as “more like myself” — the pop icon delivers a powerful visual metaphor by removing her shirt and covering her chest with electrical tape. The scene leads into a cathartic dance sequence atop a pile of sand inside a dimly lit loft, underscoring the track’s themes of identity, liberation, and rebirth.

Lorde also revealed the tracklist for her anticipated album, “Virgin,” the follow-up to 2021’s Solar Power. Among the songs on the album are: “Hammer,” “Shapeshifter,” “Favourite Daughter,” “Current Affairs,” “Clearblue,” “GRWM,” “Broken Glass,” “If She Could See Me Now,” and “David.”

Recently, Lorde officially unveiled the 2025 Ultrasound World tour dates. The tour will take place on 09-17 Austin, TX – Moody Center !* and ends on 12-09 Stockholm, Sweden – Annexet !. Tickets on sale May 16th, pre-sale May 14th.
