American rock band, MC5 has announced their first new album in 53 Years, drop a new song titled “Boys Who Play With Matches.” Listen to the full song below.
The upcoming new album, ‘Heavy Lifting‘ marks the first new MC5 studio album since 1971’s High Time. Later this year, the Detroit proto-punk band will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Heavy Lifting also features MC5 drummer Dennis Thompson, who died in May at the age of 75, on a pair of tracks, “Blind Eye” and “Can’t Be Found,” which also mark Thompson’s last-ever recordings.
Speaking about the tracklist of Heavy Lifting: It features 13 tracks including:
