American singer and songwriter, Mitski has dropped her two new songs “Star” and “Heaven,” Announcing an acoustic 2023 tour. Listen to the songs below.
Both the tracks will appear on her upcoming album, The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, which will be released on September 15 via Dead Oceans. It features the single “Bug Like an Angel.” The new record will mark Mitski’s follow-up to Laurel Hell, which landed in early 2022.
The tracks “Star” and “Heaven” were recorded in collaboration with arranger and conductor Drew Erickson at Los Angeles’ Sunset Sound Studios.
