MJ Lenderman postponed several US tour dates due to the damage caused by Hurricane Helene.
Today, October 3, was supposed to be the start of Lenderman’s impending “Manning Fireworks” tour in the United States. On October 5, the tour was scheduled to move to Nashville. The singer has opted to postpone tour dates in the impacted locations due to the hurricane’s damages and tragedies, particularly in North Carolina, where the musician’s band and their families reside.
Hurricane Helene devastated numerous cities in the Southeastern United States last week, including North Carolina, Georgia, and Nashville. As of the time of reporting, an estimated 190 people had died and hundreds more were missing as a result of the hurricane.

He posted on Instagram, “Due to the ongoing natural disaster and humanitarian crisis in Western North Carolina as a result of Hurricane Helene, where most of MJ Lenderman’s band and their families are based, we have no choice but to postpone the first few dates of the upcoming Manning Fireworks tour.”
The tour will now instead begin on October 6 in Knoxville, Lenderman subsequently confirmed, with new dates for Atlanta and Nashville to be announced in the upcoming days or weeks.
Lenderman’s tour dates in the United States will run until early November, after which he will go to the UK and Europe. Lenderman will resume his journey across North America in January 2025 and continue until April.
