Pearl Jam collaborated with Harper Vedder to cover Taylor Swift’s “The Best Day” track.
In April 2024, the band released the heavy metal album “Dark Matter“, which topped several charts in the US, UK, and other countries.
The music bash – which was founded by the band’s frontman Eddie Vedder– took place on September 27 through September 29 in Dana Point, California, and saw the likes of Devo, Sting, Alanis Morissette, Maren Morris, Jenny Lewis, Turnpike Troubadours, and the Breeders all perform.

On Sunday, September 29, they played a selection of their songs for their headline set, including “Mind Your Manners,” “MFC,” and “Wreckage.” They also brought out Andrew Watt to perform “Rearviewmirror” and played “Big Wave” for the first time since 2016.
Harper, Vedder’s youngest daughter, joined him for the first encore of the evening, mash-up-ing Swift’s “The Best Day” from her second album “Fearless” with “Last Kiss.” “We’ve had so much diversity on both these stages in the last few days,” Eddie informed the crowd, adding: “And we just had special guest Andrew Watt playing guitar on “Rearviewmirror.” I realized we hadn’t had a strong young lady up onstage with us in a long time. Therefore, my friend Harper will assist me.
Earlier this month, the band played a cover of Ted Nugent’s 1975 track ‘Stranglehold‘ in Baltimore, with Vedder ad-libbing: I don’t own a gun/ I don’t ever want to own a gun/ I don’t own a gun, never want to own a gun.“
