One Direction Singer, Liam Payne Died at Age 31

Rock band, One Direction singer, Liam Payne died at the age of 31. Liam Payne is dead after a fall from his hotel balcony in Argentina. TMZ reports.

“Payne fell from the third floor of the Casa Sur Hotel in the trendy Palermo neighborhood of Argentina’s capital, resulting in “extremely serious injuries.” Medics confirmed his death on the spot, the statement said.

Pablo Policicchio, the communications director for the Buenos Aires Security Ministry, told The Associated Press that Payne “had jumped from the balcony of his room.” Police rushed to the hotel in response to an emergency call just after 5 p.m. local time, he said, warning of an “aggressive man who could be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.”

Many witnesses at the hotel where he was staying in Buenos Aires tell, that Liam fell from his room on the 3rd floor of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel. We do not know if it was intentional or accidental.

Payne pursued a solo career, signing with Republic Records in North America. In 2017, he released his debut solo single “Strip That Down,” During his solo career, Payne sold over 18 million singles and amassed over 3.9 billion streams.
