Japanese-British singer & songwriter, Rina Sawayama has shared the covers of Metallica’s track, “Enter Sandman.” Listen to the full song below.

It is the latest artist to cover Metallica for the band’s forthcoming compilation The Metallica Blacklist. The album will be out on September 10 and featuring additional covers from Phoebe Bridgers, Weezer, J Balvin, Miley Cyrus, St. Vincent, and many others.

Sawayama’s version of “Enter Sandman” has taken the song’s classic riff and filters it through a towering dance beat to create a cover that clearly relishes the original without being beholden to it.
