British music collective SAULT has released a surprise new album “Acts of Faith.”
The album is accessible as a.wav file and consists of a 32-minute recording. The band shared a photograph of a vintage TV with the title “Acts Of Faith” over a gloomy and wet street background. It doesn’t include further information other than a link for fans to download the song.
In 2022, the group unexpectedly published five albums as a free download on WeTransfer, stating: “Here are 5 albums delivered as a sacrifice to God. Available for free download for five days. Sault added five new albums to a password-protected folder. It includes Aiir, 11, Earth, Today & Tomorrow, and (Untitled) God.
SAULT posted on Instagram about the new album “Acts of Faith.” Check out the post here:
Its band members have never been officially verified. The producer Inflo is the band’s leader, with uncredited vocals from Cleo Sol, Kid Sister, Chronixx, and others.
André 3000 announced in January that he planned to record a collaboration with the group and had spent time in the studio with them.
SAULT won the Ivor Novello Award for “Best Album” for “11” in May 2023. Producer Inflo, vocalists Cleo Sol and Chronixx, and guitarist Jack Peñate were the recipients.
The group is scheduled to go on live international tours in 2024 following their debut performance in November 2023.
