New Year’s Eve 2026 is shaping up to be a massive celebration, as Swedish House Mafia and Skrillex — joined by Four Tet — have announced a two-night takeover in San Francisco, set for December 30 and 31.
Both performances are set to take place at San Francisco’s Pier 80 — the waterfront venue that’s hosted the annual Portola Festival since 2022. The New Year’s Eve events are being produced by Goldenvoice, the same powerhouse promoter behind Portola and other major West Coast festivals.
Night one will see Skrillex and Four Tet — two-thirds of the celebrated dance trio Pangbourne House Mafia — taking over Pier 80’s sprawling 200,000-square-foot warehouse for an open-to-close set. The pair first joined forces with Fred again.. in 2023 for a string of high-energy releases and landmark performances, including a headlining turn at Coachella. Since then, Skrillex and Four Tet have continued their collaborative streak with standout back-to-back sets at HARD Summer 2023 and Hungary’s Sziget Festival in 2024.
The following evening, Swedish House Mafia will take over the Warehouse for night two of the Pier 80 celebration. The performance marks the trio’s only U.S. appearance slated for the remainder of 2025, coming on the heels of their historic September show at New York’s Arthur Ashe Stadium — where they became the first electronic act to ever headline the venue. Up next, the group will head to Mexico City for a massive set at Monumental Plaza de Toros on October 31. Beyond the stage, Swedish House Mafia recently unveiled their new imprint, Superhuman, which will serve as the home for future releases from the trio as well as emerging talent in the electronic scene.
Tickets for both shows go on sale to the general public on Friday, Nov. 7. Both events are 21-plus.
Meanwhile, in March 2025, Skrillex returned with a heavy-beat fourth studio album titled ‘F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!!.’
