The Beatles Announce 60th Anniversary Reissue of “A Hard Day’s Night”

The Beatles have announced a reissue of their album ‘A Hard Day’s Night’ in celebration of its 60th anniversary.

‘A Hard Day’s Night’ was released as their third studio album and was written entirely by Paul McCartney and John Lennon, illustrating the evolution of their musical collaboration.

The album also served as a partial soundtrack to the band’s debut film of the same name and included its eponymous hit and ‘Can’t Buy Me Love,’ both of which became transatlantic Number One singles for the group.

The reissue is also in honor of National Album Day and will be a limited edition 180g white printing of the 1964 LP. The ‘A Hard Day’s Night’ 60th anniversary reissue will be released on October 19.

A new documentary titled 1964 will be released on Apple TV+ this year to commemorate the group’s 60th anniversary of conquering the United States.

Macca recently performed The Beatles track ‘Now And Then’ live for the first time. The music legend introduced the song to his set as he played live at the Centenario Stadium in Montevideo, Uruguay on Tuesday (October 1). The performance marked the opening night of his ‘Got Back’ tour, which is set to continue across South America, the UK, and Europe over the coming weeks.
