English electronic music duo, The Chemical Brothers to publish the band’s history book, “Paused in Cosmic Reflection.” Check out the post below.
The band has teamed up with the author Robin Turner to publish a book on the band’s history, “Paused in Cosmic Reflection” which will be out on October 26 via White Rabbit.
Designed by Paul Kelly, the book comes with illustrations including photography, design work, and a cover by Kate Gibb.
The Chemical Brothers said in a press release:
“Robin has been part of our extended family since 1994, turning up to our early DJ sets. Since then, he’s never left the dance floor, whether that’s in a packed pub basement or out front in a festival crowd, whatever the weather, from the Pyramid Stage to Fuji Rock and all points in between.
When he came to us a couple of years back with the idea of a book with a great title that would join the dots between us and many of the incredible musical and visual collaborators we’ve worked with over the years, it made total sense. He wanted to tell the stories of the clubs we started out in, of how songs grew from germs of ideas into music heard all around the world, of the gigs that have grown in scale year on year, of our favourite videos and all of the live visuals that we’re so incredibly proud of.”
Paused in Cosmic Reflection tells all these stories and more. It’s an open door into our world that you’re invited to enter. Come with us.
