Canadian singer and songwriter, The Weeknd teamed up with Madonna, & Playboi Carti for the track named “Popular.” Listen to the full song below.
The track will appear on The Weeknd upcoming “The Idol Vol 1” series soundtracks. The TV show is co-created by Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye with his longtime collaborator Reza Fahim and Euphoria creator Sam Levinson and will debut on HBO on Sunday, June 4, at 9 p.m. Eastern.
The track, “Popular” joins the soundtrack’s Future-assisted lead single “Double Fantasy,” which Tesfaye first performed during Metro Boomin‘s Coachella set before officially releasing it on April 21.

“Popular” marks the first time Tesfaye has worked with Madonna and Carti, and it also marks both Madonna and Carti’s first musical releases of 2023. Meanwhile, In April, he joined forces with rapper, Future for the first single named “Double Fantasy.”
