The music video song was a part of his recently released album, “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” and was written, directed, edited, and VFX by Eddie Alcazar, produced by Javier Lovato, and CINEMATOGRAPHY by Joe Passarelli.
Speaking about the music video, it is a visual interpretation of lyrics that seemingly have Abel addressing a child, from the perspective of a parent, with an allegorical title referencing the Ethiopian Red Terror, a period of violet political repression that resulted in the deaths of thousands in the late ’70s.
Recently, The Weeknd revealed the 2025 ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ stadium tour dates, which will take place on May 9th, 2025, and ends on Sep 3rd, 2025. Also, he returned with a final trilogy album titled ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow,’ which features 22 tracks, including previously released singles like the Playboi Carti-assisted “Timeless.”
