Today, on 16th April, Time announced the list of TIME100 most influential people of 2025, ED Sheeran, Rose and Snoop Dogg are just a few of the many celebrities honored on this year’s list, which each year celebrates individual artists, icons, world leaders, industry titans, pioneers and innovators who are “transforming the world.” Hozier and Nicole Scherzinger also earned spots on the ranking, as did actors such as Adam Scott, Rashida Jones, Kristen Bell, Demi Moore, Adrien Brody, and Blake Lively.
Over his roughly three decades in the spotlight, Snoop Dogg has somehow found a way to be whoever a particular audience needs him to be without betraying who he is. “I just feel like my fan base is people, because my mother taught me to love people,” he says. “So I feel like I attract people, and my sh-t connects to all people.”
In prior eras, Ed Sheeran says, he treated being a mainstream pop star almost like a competition, pushing his reach from theaters to arenas to stadiums. His efforts were wildly successful: For much of the 2010s, Sheeran’s songs coursed through public spaces like oxygen. Other songwriters and musical fads came and went, but Sheeran continued to crank out ubiquitous hits, sometimes writing them on his own—a rarity in an era of ballooning songwriter credits.
