The hip-hop artists and rappers, Wale & Pusha T, have joined forces for the new track, “Damage Control”. Listen to the full song below.

Pusha T reunited with Wale for a fiery DMV link-up on the new track “Damage Control,” released Friday (July 25). The Virginia rapper’s verse instantly caught fire online as fans dissected lyrics that seemingly throw subliminal shots at longtime rivals Drake and Birdman. With references to ghostwriting and industry loyalty, Pusha’s bars reignited buzz around one of hip-hop’s most talked-about feuds.

The Wale collab adds another layer of intensity, making “Damage Control” a trending topic across social platforms and rap forums alike.

”The realest Birdman, I just cock-a-doodle-doo/ Doorstep, doorstep, I get it right through / Money talk, money talk, the wrist is light blue/ Sugarhill sweet, s—t is feeling type 2/ Bruised egos, man, you n—s might sue/ New Jack Ninos telling on the crew,” he raps.

The rivalry between Drake and Pusha T intensified in 2018 when both artists traded explosive diss tracks. Pusha T fired the first shot with “Infrared,” prompting Drake to respond with “Duppy Freestyle.” The feud escalated further when Pusha dropped “The Story of Adidon,” a track that stunned fans by revealing that Drake had a child, a detail previously unknown to the public.

Pusha T and Birdman’s tension traces back to the early 2000s, sparked by a financial conflict involving The Neptunes and Cash Money Records. The renowned production duo alleged they were never compensated for their work on tracks like “What Happened to That Boy” and Clipse’s breakout hit “Grindin’,” which fueled ongoing friction between the camps.
