The 2025 Academy Awards (also known as the Oscars) took place on 2nd March 2025 in Hollywood, California. The 2025 award’s winners list is officially revealed now.
Ariana sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” from the all-time classic 1939 version of The Wizard of Oz. Then, Grande left the stage, and Erivo arrived in a billowing white gown, dressed in purple flowers. Erivo performed “Home” from 1978’s The Wiz. Afterwards, the two reunited to perform a portion of “Defying Gravity” from Wicked together, ending with the floor elevating to lift Erivo into the air.
Wicked received 10 nominations at this year’s Academy Awards, including a best actress nod for Erivo and a best supporting actress nom for Grande.
