Originally appearing on Yungblud’s fourth studio album, Idols, “Zombie” has emerged as the British rocker’s fastest-streaming solo release, eclipsing 100 million streams worldwide. The track has earned a nomination for Best Rock Song at the 2026 Grammy Awards, while Idols is also in contention for Best Rock Album.

The collaboration follows a landmark year for Yungblud. The reimagined version preserves the emotional weight of the original while embracing a darker, heavier sonic palette. Yungblud launches the track with its recognizable opening verse and chorus before Billy Corgan steps in on the second verse. Built around thicker guitar textures and a more ominous atmosphere, the updated arrangement intensifies the song’s exploration of trauma, grief, and emotional isolation.
