The weekend getaway quickly changes gears as they find themselves in a house that has been rigged with cameras in Bigg Boss style.
The cameras that were meant to capture love-making are witness to something that is beyond the realm of human understanding, something metaphysical.

The plot of the film revolves around a man named Manohar. The one who shifts to a new apartment with his family.
But strange incidents keep on occurring in the house such as milk getting spoiled frequently which is considered a bad omen and the lift not functioning only for Manohar.
The female members of the family spend their afternoon watching a family show Sab Kehriyat Hai. Manohar notices that things happening in the show are almost similar to what’s happening in his house.
Such as his sister graduating and his wife Priya becoming pregnant and suffering a miscarriage. When things get worst in the serial Manohar gets worried as the same might happen to his family.
It’s an exciting movie to stream. Suspense and thriller are guaranteed.
6- Mahal (1949)
The story of the film revolves around a man named Shankar, a handsome lawyer, who moves into the Mahal.
It’s an old, dark, and abandoned mansion with a tragic history.
He notes his resemblance to a portrait of the former owner and soon afterward is approached by the spirit of Kamini, the owner’s mistress.
She orders him to either die or marry her incarnation, a servant’s daughter named Asha. One of the best scariest Hindi Bollywood horror movies ever.
Shankar soon becomes obsessed with the ghost-to the point where his worried friend Srinath arranges for Shankar to marry the beautiful Ranjana.
However, Shankar’s obsession only intensifies after the wedding and he forces poor Ranjana to live in a vermin-infested shack.
She soon commits suicide, accusing Shankar of her dying words, and soon he is arrested for her assumed murder.
Later, Asha, now married to Srinath, reveals she had masqueraded as Kamini.
However, a suicide note from Ranjana is found – and soon Shankar, still obsessed, is set free and on his way back to the Mahal. So, that’s the whole story of the film. Surely, one should give this a watch.

7- Bees Saal Baad (1962)
Indeed, the story of this film is extremely dramatic, yet haunted. It begins with, A wealthy Thakur raping a village girl in Chandanghat.
She commits suicide after the trauma and soon Thakur also dies. The villagers believe that he was killed by the spirit of that girl.
Thakur’s son and brother are also killed. Twenty years later Thakur’s grandson Kumar Vijay Singh arrives.
Villagers warn him to stay away from the ancestral home where his ancestors were killed. But Vijay still insists on living there and hires a detective.

8- Horror Story (2013)
Seven friends reunite to bid farewell to one of their friends. They choose a haunted location and hotel which was earlier an Asylum and got destroyed due to fire.

9- Shaapit (2010)
The plot of the film revolves around Wealthy Aman Bhargav and Kaaya Shekhawat are in love and would like to get married.
While driving the duo meets with an accident, is hospitalized, and recuperate.
Kaaya’s parents find out that she is seeing Aman, and discuss this alliance with Aman’s father.
They point out to them that Kaaya can never marry due to a 350-year-old curse on their family that was imposed by Archarya Sachidanand after Maharaja Ranjeet Singh’s brother sexually molested and killed the former’s daughter.
Aman, together with his friend, Shubh, approaches Professor Pashupati, and with his help hopes to reverse the curse.
The foursome accordingly delves deep into this matter – not realizing that soon Kaaya will descend into a vegetative coma.
And the trio will find their lives endangered by an ancient and vengeful entity.

10- Ek Thi Daayan (2013)
The story of the film is about a man named Bobo. He is a popular and talented illusionist, but he is haunted by his past.
When disturbing hallucinations cause him to become distracted during his stage show, he seeks the help of a psychiatrist.
Through hypnosis, he is able to recall suppressed memories of his childhood.
In his youth, Bobo suspected the nanny who cared for him and his younger sister to be a Daayan -a demon who practices witchcraft and devil worship.
Now as an adult, Bobo is paranoid that the reincarnated witch is returning for him.
11- Bhoot (2003)
Speaking of the story of the film, Vishal, a stock analyst, and his wife Swati, a homemaker, move into a new apartment.
Vishal hides from Swati that the previous tenant a widower Manjeet had committed suicide and also killed her son.
Why? As she would hesitate in shifting to the apartment but Swati finds it accidentally from Mr. Thakkar, caretaker of the flat.
However, Swati suddenly starts behaving strangely and takes the help of Dr. Rajan considering it a psychological disorder. But things got worse when she killed the building watchman.
Vishal is broken as no treatment is working for Swati. His housemaid then tells Vishal that Swati has been possessed by someone and he should consult an exorcist.

12- Darna Mana Hai (2003)
That’s a rough movie with more suspense and horror. The plot of the film revolves around Six city students.

The stories include: A husband trying to scare his wife; a man stuck at a creepy “healthy hotel”; a teacher spooked by a child’s homework; a housewife scared of apples; a bizarre lift on a freeway; and a college kid with unusual power.
Unlike the usual Indian horror film, this does not resort to sound effects and visuals for thrills.
Each sketch has its moments, though a couple of them could have been brilliant with small script changes and resistance to oversimplifying.
Most of the actors do decent jobs, especially Raghubir Yadav as the freaked-out teacher.

13- Kohraa (1964)
In this re-imagining of Du Maurier’s Rebecca, a recently wed woman discovers the ghost of her husband’s first wife still haunts their home.
However, the plot of the film revolves around a woman named Rajeshwari.
After the death of her father, Rajeshwari is left at the mercy of a widow who feels her mentally challenged son Ramesh will be normal after getting married to her.
Rajeshwari attempts suicide to escape the wrath and comes across Raja Amit Kumar Singh both fall in love and get married.
When Amit takes Rajeshwari to his palatial home she finds that Amit was previously married to Poonam who passed away and his Dai Maa is disturbed by the events.
Amit goes on a business trip and Rajeshwari feels the presence of Poonam in the house and strange things happening around.
Rajeshwari then decides to do her investigation and finds many hidden secrets. That’s full of suspense-based movies and horror gives this perfect spice that is required to make the film a super hit.
14- Phoonk (2008)
The film is about an atheist who is forced to consult an exorcist after his daughter shows signs of being possessed. A perfect horror film to give you those jaw-dropping expressions.

15- Tumbbad
That’s a very unusual movie. Something that is completely based on pure fiction.
Gives you a little insight into the film, A mythological story about a goddess who created the entire universe.
The plot revolves around the consequences when humans build a temple for her firstborn.
To be more precise, The story is based on the Indian mythology of a demon who is loaded with gold but deprived of food.
One family has been able to revive the demon by building a temple inside an isolated mansion.
It was due to this the family gets ostracized but only an old man stays alone with the idol of the demon.
The mistress of the old man does visit the mansion every day. The house of the family is walking distance away from the mansion which is inhabited by the mistress and her two kids.
Along with the great-great-grandmother of the old man, who is being cursed to live forever after the bite of the demon. And the old hag needs to be fed regularly while she is asleep or she might resort to cannibalism.
The movie is highly appreciated by the viewers, I will recommend you to stream this movie on the basis of reviews and ratings.
