Tim’s version of “Forever Yours” has been a long-standing fan favorite. With the new documentary “Avicii – I’m Tim” and the concert film “Avicii – My Last Show”, the requests to officially release this version of the song have grown louder by the minute. Now, “Forever Yours – Tim’s 2016 Ibiza Version” has been made available for fans worldwide.
The track, “Forever Yours – Tim’s 2016 Ibiza Version,” arrives on the heels of mates of Avicii documentaries — I’m Tim and My Last Show, released on Netflix in December. The track was played at Avicii’s last live show at Ushuaïa in Ibiza in 2016, as featured in the My Last Show doc.

Also, The 10-minute clip of ‘The Creative Journey of Forever Yours’ finds the camera trained on Bergling, catching his reactions as he intently listens to playbacks of the song and finding him smiling and stating “It’s so damn epic” when the track’s saxophone breakdown plays.

Avicii died on 20 April 2018 in Muskat when he was 28 years old. Police said that there was “no criminal suspension” in his death. He committed suicide with a glass shard to cut himself. His family penned an open letter for him:
