On 4th Aug, Cardi B officially announced that her new single track “WAP” featuring, Megan Thee Stallion is releasing this Friday. The brand new track marks, Cardi’s first new track as a lead artist since 2018’s track, “Money” and 2019’s track “Press.”
This year, Meg released the new album Suga, and also released her new hip hop track called ‘Girls In The Hood,’ the track is Megan’s fourth single for 2020, following on from ‘Diamonds’ with Normani, ‘FREAK’ with Tyga and ‘B.I.T.C.H’.

Cardi B shared a video on Instagram before the release of the WAP, where she says, “I just want to let y’all know, I wanna give y’all the heads up, the music video is going to be the censored version of the song, because the song is so nasty that YouTube was like, ‘Hold on, wait a minute, someone might be too Goddamn nasty.”
