American rapper and music producer, Eminem to open this year’s MTV VMAs 2024 event ceremony.
The event shared the news via X with the caption, “Guess who’s back @Eminem will be back again on the #VMA stage!!!! Watch his opening performance LIVE on Wednesday at 8p on @MTV.” In the event, the Joining performers will includes Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Glorilla, Camila Cabello, Rauw Alejandro, and Katy Perry.
The event will take place on Wednesday, September 11, at Long Island’s UBS Arena. Recently, It was announced that Megan Thee Stallion to host the MTV VMAs 2024 concert event. Also, MTV announced that Blackpink’s Lisa, Benson Boone, Halsey, and Lenny Kravitz to perform at the upcoming MTV VMAs 2024 event.
In 2022, Eminem last performed at the VMAs, when an NFT company presented his and Snoop Dogg’s avatars in a metaverse attended by the MTV audience. Before that, he joined Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, in 2012, to do “Forgot About Dre” and “Still D.R.E.”
