Scottish post-rock band, Mogwai has shared their new music video song named ‘Ritchie Sacramento.’ Watch the full video below.

The official music video for Mogwai’s ‘Richie Sacramento‘ is the second single taken from their upcoming album, ‘As The Love Continues,’ which will be released on February 19 via Temporary Residence Ltd./Rock Action.

Meanwhile, they also announce a live performance premiere of their new album ‘As The Love Continues’ which will be broadcast worldwide on 13th February 2021. Filmed and recorded at the Tramway Theatre, Glasgow, and directed by long term collaborator Antony Crook, the broadcast will be the first opportunity to hear the new album in full. Coming to the music video, it’s animation was created with the Unreal Games Engine. Pre-save the full album by clicking here. “‘Ritchie Sacramento’’s title came from a misunderstanding a friend of ours had about how to say Ryuichi Sakamoto,” Stuart Braithwaite said in a statement.

“The lyrics were inspired by a story Bob Nastanovich shared about his friend and bandmate David Berman who proclaimed ‘Rise Crystal Spear’ as he threw a shovel at a sports car. The song is dedicated to all the musician friends we’ve lost over the years.” He added.
