The ‘Pop Out’ rapper, Polo G has announced his new album, ‘Hood Poet’ featuring rappers, Future, GloRilla & The Kid LAROI. Check out the announcement below.
The new LP will be released on all streaming services on Aug. 9. “Hood Poet August 9th … The Wait Finally Over + Me & Smurk This Friday #weuhshoot #freetrench,” he wrote to Instagram.
Speaking about the cover art, it features Polo G at the mic with a pair of affiliates in ski masks and bullet-proof vests behind him protecting a goat — which plays off his 2020 The Goat album.
The rappers, Future, GloRilla, 42 Dugg, Offset, The Kid LAROI, Lil Durk, G Herbo, Hunxho, and Fridayy will appear on his upcoming album. It also will include previous singles “Barely Holdin’ On,” “Distraction” and “Angels in the Sky.”
Last year, In Aug 2023, Polo G was arrested while police searched his home in Los Angeles. A source for the LAPD told PEOPLE that four robbery suspects were jailed at approximately 8:30 a.m. at a house in Chatsworth, California was listed as the rapper’s current home address.
