The 92nd Academy Awards(Oscar Awards) has been finished now, a largely predictable ceremony ended with one major surprise: ‘Parasite beating out 1917 for Best Picture this time’.
We are all winners, Us and Bong Joon Ho, who took home four of the four prizes his film Parasite was up for. Parasite is not only the first South Korean movie ever to win any kind of Oscar, it’s also the first Best Picture winner in a language other than English.
