COMPATIBILITY

It does not matter how good is the software if your laptop or PC can not handle it then it’s of no use for you but FL Studio is pretty much compatible with all Laptops or PCs. The minimum requirements for FL Studio are 2 GHz Intel Pentium 4 / AMD Athlon 64 (or later) compatible CPU with full SSE2 support, WINDOWS 7, or later / macOS 10.11 or later, 4 GB or more RAM recommended, 4 GB free disk space, Soundcard with DirectSound drivers. FREE OF COST?

No Industry-standard DAW is free but there is something different in FL Studio. FL Studio gives you a free trial for a lifetime, you will get to use all VSTs samples, plugins, and effects of the signature bundle for free but yeah the only major limitation is that you can’t reopen saved projects, you have to finish the track in one go and export it, obviously you can’t get a better deal for free.

Most of the beginners chose FL Studio for the free trial because they get enough time to learn the whole DAW before buying any version and there are producers who have made great tracks in the trial version too. But even buying it is a great deal because it gives you lifetime updates for free. It’s not cheap just as costly as other DAWs but lifetime free updates are a great deal.

WHAT ARTIST HAS TO SAY ABOUT IT?

You don’t trust this blog? well, let’s see what your favorite artist got to say about FL Studio!

I looked for a program that is easy to use for productions and gives fast results when making tracks. I tried to switch to logic a few times but it’s just not my thing. If I have an idea I want to be able to work it out really fast so I can decide if it’s worth finishing. Besides that FL Studio has some really good plugins itself which I use a lot.

MARTIN GARRIX

At first, FL stood out to me just because it was vastly more intuitive and usable than ACID, the program I was producing with before. I had no idea what I was getting into, though. I discovered FL through the recommendation of a friend, and the fully functional trial was integral to helping me get a feel for the program before I took the plunge. I use FL for virtually everything. I’m programming a majority of my bass sounds with Sytrus and 3xOSC, and it’s because the slide functionality of FL’s piano roll is amazingly useful.

I started using it when I was about 11 years old, just for fun, making remixes and mixing records through each other just for fun, FL studio felt really easy and obvious, and I never stopped using it (ed: 12 years so far). Don’t let people tell you that Logic or other programs are ‘superior

afrojack

When I first got interested in music production, I played around with the demos of the major DAWs and FL Studio stood out as the most logical one. It really fitted my vision of what music creation should be, a free canvas as opposed to a linear approach. Over the years, I became familiar with the incredible depth of the software, I never feel like something isn’t achievable.
