Phoebe Bridgers, Fred Durst, Snail Mail To Appear In New Horror Film, ‘I Saw The TV Glow’

The musical artists, Phoebe Bridgers, Fred Durst, and Snail Mail to appear in upcoming new horror film named ‘I Saw The TV Glow.’

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film is based on two teenage outcasts (played by Smith and Lundy-Paine) who bond over their shared love of a scary television show. However, the boundary between TV and reality begins to blur after it is mysteriously canceled.

The movie actors include, Justice Smith and Brigette Lundy-Paine, has a strong musical contingent in the production with Durst, Lindsey Jordan (aka Snail Mail), Haley Dahl’s Sloppy Jane (featuring Bridgers), and King Woman on the roll-call. Bridgers was a former Sloppy Jane bassist before forging her path as a solo artist.

Jordan of Snail Mail wrote on Instagram, “Just honored beyond belief to announce that I’m acting in the fucking genius Jane Schoenbrun’s new movie I Saw the TV Glow.”

The film is produced by A24 and Emma Stone’s Fruit Tree. Schoenbrun’s most recent film, We’re All Going to the World’s Fair, was a breakout hit at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival, with a soundtrack composed by Alex G.
