Singer-songwriter Duffy has released her new song called ‘River in the Sky.’ – Listen below.
Singer Duffy shared the song on her Instagram account with the caption, “For the better days to come.” This track is the second single she has released in 2020 following her radio-only song, “Something Beautiful.”

The artist sings about being “alone/afraid of the dark” and the ways in which she copes with it, envisioning someone who visits her to protect her. “As I walk this life/Doubt on my mind/I pray to fly, burden-free,” she sings. “She covers me so patiently, as I learn to deal with the pain.”
Duffy New Track ‘River in the Sky’
Duffy’s last studio album was 2010’s Endlessly. She shared her most recent single “Whole Lot of Love” in 2015. That single had “Dear Heart” as its B-Side.
4 months ago, Singer shared a photo on Instagram, where she said ‘She was raped, drugged and held captive over some days.’ “You can only imagine the number of times I thought about writing this. The way I would write it, how I would feel thereafter,” said Duffy. “Well, not entirely sure why now is the right time, and what it is that feels exciting and liberating for me to talk.”

She continued, “I cannot explain it. Many of you wonder what happened to me, where did I disappear to and why. A journalist contacted me, he found a way to reach me and I told him everything this past summer. He was kind and it felt so amazing to finally speak.” To be continued.
