The new event is scheduled for January 6, 2023, in Accra, Ghana’s Black Star Square. Also, The pair did not reveal a lineup as part of their announcement.

“Everything we’re doing is with the goal of uniting and building a bridge between black people of the diaspora and the globe, with the continent,” Mensa said in a statement. “And Ghana is the gateway to all of that.”
Chance the Rapper shared the festival news via social media and wrote, “Festival An appreciation of us In the order of Marcus Garvey & Dr Kwame Nkrumah Jan 6 @ Black Star Square WE’LL SEE US THERE”
